Overflowing with Historical Charm
10.0I love historical homes, and stay at them often. This one (built in 1717) takes the cake! It’s beautiful, authentic and extremely well-preserved. It’s literally a museum (open for tours on designated dates), but is also a homey and comfortable place to spend the night. The host / owner, Justin, is very personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the home’s history, as well as local history. Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. I’m looking forward to finding an excuse to come back and stay again. See the attached photo for my favorite room in the house: the kitchen.

10.0This place isn’t just somewhere to stay, it’s something to experience. We were only in for a night but the innkeeper went out of his way to make it memorable. If you are a history buff or just like a fun vibe, we highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem in Massachusetts
10.0If you are a history buff, do not miss this opportunity to stay in this historical inn. Don't expect the impersonal and monotonous atmosphere of chain hotels that look the same wherever you go! The host, Justin, has a wealth of knowledge regarding this inn and is eager to share it with you. The inn dates back to the 1700s but the WiFi is 21st century strong! The nearby restaurant, McGuires, has great food and next door is Aroma Joe's where we found the best coffee during our trip to Cape Cod. Immerse yourself in a unique experience by staying here. We would book again in a heartbeat!
