A nice stay in a comfortable house in a nice location

Comfortable house in a good location. Plenty of space and everything you needed. Parking for 3 cars and an enclosed garden. Comfortable beds. Included free WiFi.

− Just a couple of minor things - slightly short on crockery and no chopping board.

It served its purpose as a base for our family while attending a party nearby.

Location and it was large enough for all the family to stay

− It would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture for us to make use of the patio during the lovely weather we have been having. There was no mirror in two of the bedrooms just in one bedroom and the bathroom. It would have been nice also to have a better selection of glasses, there were no champagne/prosecco glasses for instance. There were marks down the sides of the cupboards in the kitchen as if nobody had been bothered to wipe down when doing the cleaning.

Position of property

− Poor kitchen equipment. No information pack. No outdoor furniture. No live tv. Not enough towels. Poor quality of cutlery. Wallpaper peeling off. No cloths or cleaning equipment. No welcome pack. No spare rubbish bags. Set of some unreasonable rules sent by owners in week prior to stay.

− Hi I am afraid we did not enjoy our stay and came home the next day. Although we found the house very comfortable with good quality furnishing it was not clean. I had to clean the fridge before I could use it and the toilets smelt and not clean with one toilet it looked as if someone had been sick all over it and not cleaned up properly. We arrived Monday and went home Tuesday. I am only sending this message because I think whoever cleans for isn't doing their job. We used to live in Butterwick Gardens and my in-laws lived on Grasmere Avenue we thought it was very central area but I am in my eightys we don't drive anymore so was very difficult to get around. This was a other reason we came home so can't blame the house completely but wanted you to be aware that the wasn't being cleaned properly. Pamela (Clive's partner)

Great, easy to get around and plants of space for 6 of us.

Good location, big rooms, well equipped and well kept.

− 2 double beds only had towels for one person.

Lovely accomodation for a family with transport.

The house was well equipped and spacious. The living areas were comfy and appliances all of a great standard. Though the weather wasn't appropriate to use it the conservatory out the back was a great space.

− Nothing really, the bedrooms were a little tight once a suitcase was in, but not a real issue.
