Handy for Hobart centre
8.0Our queries about a couple of things were answered quickly and action was taken. The location, while on a short steep hill, was handy for the shops and not that far from Salamanca Market. The kitchen is well appointed and supplied. There are two bathrooms next door to each other on the ground floor. Views over Hobart. We were five people and we enjoyed our stay in the house and Hobart.
− The extra $35 fee to have your details and credit card checked. No locks on the bathroom doors. Inside the front door is (for the size of property) a large unused space with only a vacuum cleaner charging in the corner. Perhaps a couple of easy chairs and a book shelf would be good here providing an alternative to the lounge. The house can sleep six but to seat everyone in front of the TV would mean squeezing four onto the couch. The welcome guide is not comprehensive and doesn't have enough information for operating the appliances. Perhaps they assume that everything will be working perfectly unfortunately things go wrong and it would be good to have a reference guide on how something should work (eg the TV or the underfloor heating in the bathrooms).

10.0Very modern, and clean. Fully equipped. Comfortable kitchen, lounge, and dining. Good sized bedrooms. You’ll want for nothing. A 10 minute walk to the centre of Hobart.
− Parking could be a problem during a weekday. Being so close the city, a lot of cars park in the street during the day.
