A perfect house that enabled us to meet up and celebrate being together and having fun as a family.

The property was incredibly family‑friendly and suited us perfectly. Our group of 16, aged between 13 and 80 (8 children, 8 adults, and 3 dogs), all found plenty of space and activities to enjoy — whether relaxing, playing, eating, or having a drink together. Being able to bring the dogs was fantastic and meant we could fully relax and make the most of the beautiful setting. Many thanks.

The house was spacious and warm. It was well furnished and fitted out. The hot tub was a great asset.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The manor was super spacious yet cosy, kept warm all weekend and was spotless when we arrived. There's loads of activities and games to keep you busy. Was a little concerned at first about being in close proximity to the other guests on the premises but didn't really see anybody. Would 100% book again!

Can't really think of anything bad about it. The only thing that could have been done to improve is having lamps in the communal living rooms downstairs as the overhead lighting was a bit bright for the evenings.

Would go there again. Beautiful property. Huge potential. Needs some updating.

The property delivered on being an exceptional size and suited the party. The house was clean. The grounds were wonderful for the dogs and the facilities were amazing for the children. The house was warm and you did not feel the winter cold. We would definitely stay here again.

Upstairs the wifi failed to work in most bedrooms. There was no welcome pack of milk/bread which is not expected but helpful when arriving after a long journey. Some of the furniture lets the property down as the property has so much character but a lot of the furniture feels very mismatched. The kitchen lacked some utensils and the Aga had lost its print so was difficult to cook with as you couldn’t read the temperature. The property had a beautiful footprint but felt tired and in need of some tlc, for example there were quite a few stains in the carpet upstairs. Paint work required in some areas. The doors needed oiling to avoid creaks whilst accessing the bathrooms at nighttime. One of the bedrooms had an extremely loud noise during the night so very uncomfortable to sleep in that room.

The location, size of property, friendly staff and hot tub was amazing 👏 Chef Rob who was recommended by the property fantastic. Spacious and just what we needed for a friends and family weekend.

The hob and oven was difficult to use and cpuld do with an extra fridge, possibly in the pantry to accommodate large groups. Everything else was amazing! 😀
