9.0Extremely peaceful, clean and comfortable accommodation with free onsite parking. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Excellent location on the river, but also close to all Christchurch has to offer. Dan was very welcoming and even checked in on us during the heatwave to see we were ok and see if they could help in any way. There were two tower fans already provided, which were perfect with these temperatures. The lodge has a well equipped kitchen and large fridge. The welcome basket was much appreciated as was the supply of kitchen and bathroom essentials. Beds extremely comfortable. Great quality towels and bedding. Nice to have a small patio to sit out on. Comfy furniture and sun umbrella provided. Lovely to walk across to the waters edge and watch the boats go by.

− Hamper, tea and coffee was a nice touch, but Oat milk sachets were not useful. Milk we did take we lost as fridge wasn't on! A rubbish bin in kitchen would be useful.
