Babes Bungalow served our purpose for our stay. We appreciated having our own private space.

The bungalow was in the heart of Orleans, close to restaurants as well as the conference I went there to attend at Cape Cod Institute. The bungalow style was very nice. Even though it was in town, the yard felt private which we enjoyed while sitting on the back deck.

− The electrical was concerning and made us nervous. The lights would flicker when we plugged something in and when they had been on for a bit. We had to turn off the lights to run the hairdryer because they would flicker so much. Table and chairs in kitchen and living room were very tight and uncomfortable. We stayed in a house so we could prepare some meals at home but there was nowhere comfortable to sit to eat. Outside seating was uncomfortable as well. Cushioned chairs were very dirty so we didn't use them. The adirondacks were very flimsy and uncomfortable to sit on. Mini split unit couldn't cool the whole house so sleeping was very uncomfortable as it was too hot. Kitchen was also very hot even with the split on high. Some small fans in the doorways would help move the cool air into the bedroom and kitchen or additional splits. The shower had hair in it when we arrived. There was only a broom that didn't do a good job on the floors and no dustpan or mop. When staying in a home, it is nice to be able to clean up a couple times throughout our stay to keep things tidy and comfortable. Higher quality toilet paper wouldn't hurt especially at the nightly rate we paid.

The location was perfect! So many restaurants you can walk to.

− I hate to say this but the mattress was quite firm and the one side was sunken in.
