10.0Hiroko and her husband Yasu were very charming and helpful. They live next door. Nothing was too much trouble for them ensuring we had an amazing stay. The house is by a river with fantastic cherry blossom trees alongside Hiroko had left us some supplies to get us started. There are plenty of nice shops nearby however.

10.0The house is absolutely beautiful and well equipped with everything you need (2 bathrooms, big kitchen area, quiet bedroom, big living room area). The location could not be more perfect - quiet neighborhood with good access to all the hotspots Kyoto has to offer. The highlight - however - are the hosts: They are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their tips and support really helped us navigate our first days in Japan.

Traditional Japanese home with beautiful details and loving hosts
10.0My husband and I were amazed at the house. It is a traditional Japanese style house so it felt like we were having an authentic Japanese experience, staying at the home of a friend. We were in a great location with lots of walkable shopping, restaurants, and cafes. Everything around the area was beautiful with fall leaves and a back garden area with fruit trees. The bathroom was appointed with high quality items (L'occitane! My favorite!) and the kitchen had everything we needed, even a Nespresso machine! My son and daughter in law live in Kyoto and were very excited to see such a beautiful traditional home and meet our hosts, Yasu and Hiroko. I want to go back!!
