− Nothing! The stairs were quite steep for my elderly parents so it may be worth mentioning in the descriptive so anyone with mobility issues can be aware.
Wonderful tranquil setting
9.0Great communication from Joan prior to arrival was very welcome. On arrival lovely touch of a loaf of bread, pint of milk and packet of butter. Fantastic if you'd not had time to shop on the way. First basket of logs and kindling also included. Beds comfy and it was clean with well appointed kitchen.
− Little to fault. Some TLC needed on carpets and woodwork but nothing major.

9.0It is a beautiful cottage in a peaceful village. It was lovely and clean and had everything you need for your stay. Loved the big bath towels 😊 and the log fire was wonderful on the chilly nights. Will definitely return.

8.0The cottage is situated in a lovely and quiet location with easy (walking) access to two great eateries. A well stocked kitchen and lovely quality mattress and bedding. You will need a torch when heading out in the evening's to the pub/hotel.
− The keys were in a keysafe, unfortunately we had to call the owner for the code as we hadn’t received an email from Booking.com with the arrival information. The owner was more than happy to help. We received the arrival information on the morning we left the property. An ensuite, even just a toilet and wash basin would have been lovely as one us uses the loo in the night! I understand that there isn’t always space or maybe difficult to install. The sofa was lovely but rather low (I have lower back issues) not the owner problem, there are two armchairs which were suitable, but I do like to sit next to my partner in the evenings. After highlighting these things, it really wouldn’t put me off staying again and infact we have booked to stay for a week in the not too distant future!
