Location, apartment was well equipped, bed very comfortable

− This is nothing that is the responsibility of the owner but the people in the upstairs flat had a toddler and laminate floors, not a good combination, at 6 each morning she was like a baby elephant running backwards and forwards and then she had some sort of ride on car coming away for a rest was not conducive with this , our reason for coming away is we are full time childcare for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter so this was like a busman’s holiday 😂

Very good, homely, clean accomodation. Good location in the quaint and picturesque seaside resort of Shaldon in Devon. Poodle and teenager friendly and close to the beach, sun and waves.

A wonderful stay in Shaldon

We absolutely love Shaldon, and have stayed there several times over the years. The location of the apartment is perfect, with so many amenities such as local shops, pubs and restaurants just a few steps away. You are a few minutes' walk away from the estuary and beaches, so ideal if you have a dog who loves the water! The apartment itself is cosy and comfortable, and as we were staying over Christmas it had been decorated with all things festive, which was a very thoughtful touch! Laura is an amazing host - she is helpful, friendly and very keen to make sure you enjoy your stay! The apartment is very well-equipped, so she has thought of anything you may need while you're there.

− Parking can be an issue in Shaldon, but we were already aware of this. I would recommend that if you aren't planning to use your car much during your stay, there are a couple of larger long-stay car parks in the village which you can pay to use.

Cosy, quiet, well-equipped, comfortable bed and sofa. Attractive beach theme decor and furnishings. Beach, pubs, restaurants and shops within minutes of walking in this quaintly beautiful, friendly old fishing village.
