10.0The grounds and the 2 bedroom (Casa da Capitão) that we stayed in were beautiful and had everything for a wonderful stay. The pool was great with pool towels provided, but it is a little walk at the back of the property. Be careful with the bees as I did get stung on the hand. The beds were comfortable and having air conditioning was nice. From our back window and deck we could see Pena Palace at the top of the mountain. The views were wonderful in a very quiet little town.
− Driving our rental car down the narrow streets, which were only wide enough for one car at a time, made getting to our place pretty stressful. Though once you get through the red gate to the grounds it opens up to a beautiful space with plenty of room for parking.
