Fantastic memories of nature, trees, superb views and the sound of frogs croaking in the pool.
10.0We stayed 4 nights in the Antique rooms at Villa Fortezza in the spacious upstairs room. It was light, spotlessly clean, airy and beautifully constructed in stone and wood with the most magnificent views over Ascoli Piceno and towards the Sibilini mountains. From the town, it was either a steep 10-15 min walk straight up steps or a more meandering route along the road shaded by huge trees. The natural swimming pool and sitting out areas were utter bliss in the hot afternoons and a perfect place to relax. Breakfast was a very short walk away in the gardens of the villa under the trees. Salvatore was a warm and wonderful host, generous with his information and very kindly not only picked us up and dropped us off at the station but drove us up the hill to a hiking start point. His assistant Omar was a real asset and seem to do about 10 different jobs. A real highlight for me was the surrounding nature, trees and birds.
− Absolutely nothing. We weren't sure about the large jacuzzi bathub in our room although didnt use it; so maybe thats just us!

Amazing trip and Salvatore/ Omar were amazing hosts! Kudos for the art and creativity at the place!
10.0Very rural place in away from centre but close enough to travel even by foot. Views to die for and extremely fresh breakfast with homemade jams and eggs.
− I liked everything and very eco friendly place. It sometimes gets a bit hot since no ac but very good fan provided.

10.0C est un endroit d un charme et d une beauté soignée et très paisible. Le petit déjeuner servi dans le jardin avec ûe vue magnifique était spigné et excellent. La chambre était climatisée naturellement et très spacieuse. L acceuil était personnel et chaleureux. La piscine naturelle bordée de vegetation et de nénuphars dans lesquels se cachent de rigolottes petites grenouilles était bien aménagée pour le confort des locataires (parasols lits de plage et douches) What else?
− C est un détail mais de quoi suspendre les vêtements plus longs aurait été appréciable.
