Gorgeous penthouse apartment! Spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, everything you need for a short stay in London. Lovely little balcony to enjoy fresh air. Hosts were communicative beforehand and access to the property was smooth. Really felt like a home from home! Thank you for a lovely stay.

− Everything was great!

Grubby, unloved, don’t recommend at all.

Having a balcony was nice Plenty of cups / glasses

− We were very disappointed with this property. Luxury and penthouse are not words we would use to describe the property. Arriving after dark with our 2 children it was tricky to locate the door! Once inside the communal area was filthy, no lifts and tons of stairs to take cases up. Once inside we were greeted with a grubby carpet, very grubby stained sofa. Toaster and kettle that need condemimg. Baloncy glass was so dirty. One bedroom door had a balcony door that didn’t lock and blind that didn’t work. One of the worst things only 2 towels for 4 people!!!! No hand towels, no tea towel. The whole place felt unloved and whilst not dirty as such it didn’t feel great. Really disappointed for the price and advertised facilities. I wouldn’t recommend.

Underwhelming property, great location.

Location

− Advertising it as a luxury penthouse is a bit misleading, there was nothing luxury about it, it’s a standard top floor flat, very outdated, furniture falling apart, blinds that don’t work, only provided two small towels for a weekend stay, kitchen and bathroom cabinets were falling off the hinges and a bit grubby, the location was good in terms of how close to local amenities it was and routes to other London areas, I don’t think it was worth the price we paid and I likely wouldn’t stay here again mainly because the apartment itself wasn’t up to standard for what we paid!

Disappointing and not luxury

5.0

It was close to the Shoreditch High Street Overground station. We had a problem with the blind in the 2nd bedroom which turned out to be our fault because we hadn't switched it on. When it wouldn't work, we called the owner who arranged for someone to call and fix it within an hour. The bathroom was nice and the bedrooms were a good size with comfy beds.

− One cupboard in the kitchen was falling off it's hinges. There was a damp patch on the ceiling in the kitchen. It was a very hot night and the fan in the bedroom was extremely noisy, like a plane landing. It is also in a noisy part of Shoreditch surrounded by streets that are strewn with graffiti, people shouting, broken glass and takeaway rubbish. It's great if you want to party all night as it's surrounded by pubs and bars but not so good if you want a good night's sleep. The apartment looks nice at first glance but would benefit from a bit of maintenance. I wouldn't call it luxury - or penthouse. It's only 4 stories and the view from the balcony is a block of flats that are higher than this property. There was no wardrobe or storage in the bedrooms and the ashtray on the table on the balcony hadn't been emptied. We were quite disappointed with it to be honest.
