no stay - room was double booked and we were refused accommodation
1.0We weren't able to stay at the room, so can't provide any details on the accommodation itself unfortunately.
− The room was double booked, and we were told on arrival that it wasn't available. That left us scrambling to find accommodation last minute, which was stressful, tiring and frustrating. The host had sent a message suggesting an advance payment be made, however the booking.com listing explicitly said no prepayment was needed. And their message didn't provide any details for making payment or making it clear that this was required. This is really frustrating as it's clear the host is circumventing booking.com policies.
