Very authentic local experience with a great, generous host
10.0Our host, Sam, was super hospitable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and provide information about the area. The breakfast and dinner was delicious home cooked meals. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with lovely views. A yoga mat, tea room, mahjong table, guitar, traditional Hani costumes to try on for photos and books made our stay even more enjoyable. Sam even recommended some Chinese movies to watch :) We would go back based on his hospitality alone. Thank you!
− Not necessarily something we didn’t like but you need to walk through the village to the homestay which was about 500m and can be difficult in the wet and in the dark, but Sam (the host) helped us with all the luggage and picked us up with headlights and helped us all the way down. Thank you!! Beautiful and interesting during the day, just a bit hard at night.
