**An Unforgettable Stay at Palazzo Piro** Palazzo Piro is an absolutely stunning property. Eliana has lovingly restored this historic building with impeccable taste, beautifully preserving its original character while thoughtfully incorporating all modern amenities. Every detail has been carefully considered, creating a space that feels both authentic and comfortable. Beyond the beautiful setting, what truly made our stay extraordinary were our hosts, Alfredo and Eliana. They are the kind of hosts who make you feel less like a guest and more like cherished family. When our flight was delayed by 5 hours, they waited for us until the middle of the night without hesitation - a gesture that set the tone for the entire stay. From the moment we arrived, they took wonderful care of us. Eliana’s breakfasts were nothing short of spectacular - beautifully prepared, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day. They offered incredible activity suggestions, including unique local experiences we never would have discovered on our own - like a magical nighttime tour to see deer and wild boar in their natural habitat. They made restaurant reservations for us and shared their deep knowledge of the area with genuine enthusiasm and warmth. Alfredo and Eliana are truly fascinating people with incredible stories to share. Spending time with them didn’t feel like a typical host-guest interaction - it felt like being welcomed into their home and their lives. We formed a real connection during our stay and left feeling like we’d experienced something truly special: not just a beautiful place to sleep, but an authentic glimpse into the heart of the region through the eyes of people who genuinely love sharing it. I stayed at Palazzo Pirro for four nights, and it was an absolute treat. As a history lover, I was amazed by how beautifully preserved the palazzo is—it feels like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern comforts. The rooms are comfortable, with great attention to detail, making every corner feel special. It is truly a place of peace, where one can slow down and reconnect with the gentler rhythms of life. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a genuine family-run spirit. Everyone was extremely courteous and always ready to help. Our experience felt truly personalized, and my husband and I felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. They also gave us wonderful recommendations on where to eat and what to visit, which made our time even more enjoyable. I even had an important call during my stay, and they supported me with every detail. Breakfast in the garden was a touch of class—peaceful, refined, and the perfect start to the day. Overall, everything was magnificent. Truly recommended, and I can’t wait to go back for a longer stay.

Pour le tourisme ou le repos, au calme absolu, cette ancienne maison-forte magnifiquement restaurée est idéalement située au centre des Abruzzes, dans une vallée verdoyante. La famille PIRRO (Roberta, Renato et "Mamma") vous accueillera très chaleureusement et saura faire de votre séjour une "parenthèse enchantée". Au petit-déjeuner , très copieux, les pâtisseries de Roberta rivalisent de variété et de gourmandises. Des repas sont possibles : produits du terroir garantis, ne pas hésiter !

La Location è magnifica e trasmette in ogni suo ambiente la sua lunga storia e la passione dei suoi proprietari che sono riusciti a preservare, valorizzandola, l'anima di una residenza che affascina e stupisce. L'accoglienza e la gestione sono state superlative: già prima dell'arrivo vengono fornite informazioni utilissime per conoscere un territorio bellissimo e incontaminato. Ci siamo sentiti a casa e siamo partiti con la promessa di tornare presto. Colazioni indimenticabili. Accoglienza squisita. Abbiamo visitato altre residenze simili ma Palazzo Pirro è al primo posto.

An Extraordinary Place to Stay

Everything was exceptionally good! Roberta, Donato and Alfredo were wonderful hosts who showed us the history of the Compound, fed us deliciously prepared meals in beautiful courtyards and helped us explore this glorious countryside. This stay has given us memories to last our lives...even though we'll return to add more.

− This place requires a pretty accurate GPS to find. Ours wasn't functioning well. Ask a local if you're turned around.
