9.0Perfect location. Beautiful, clean and super quiet. The staff was also really amazing. Hazel was such a sweet heart! Also, the head chef from SA did an amazing job in the kitchen!
− Just the spiders and house geckos were an issue but the staff made sure to spray them away.

10.0Zanziblue waves exceeded all of our expectations. It has a very chilled out vibe but at the same time everything was there when you needed it…the perfect recipe for a relaxing holiday! There was also lots of options for energetic kids …beach volleyball, paddle boards, a very well equipped gym, guided snorkelling and reef walks. The food was amazing, everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they made the place even more special. The resort itself had some really great additions to aid a relaxing family break like wristband room keys and a WhatsApp group to communicate with reception and be informed of the days events. We honestly can’t say anything negative about the resort. It was a perfect holiday!

9.0What went really well: - The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, each single one of them - Hazle at the reception was also very nice - The barbecue on Wednesday with the band was definitely a highlight, very cheerful and definitely worth staying there for the bbq - Breakfast was very good - Safety in the room and the room key are very practical - Pool, sand court, snorkeling and resting areas are really nice - Transfer always on time - Massage was worth it an very relaxing
− Some constructive feedbacks: - we were woken up at 5:30am since the circuit breaker had fallen. We were expected to wake up at 6:30am to leave and we were well asleep until we were woken up by an employee suggesting to turn on the circuit breaker that had fallen due to energy instability in the island. Definitely worth having a protocol in these cases since it’s common - at the reception, we were booking the tours and there was a lack of details of the most popular ones. The staff could be better trained for this - the bbq was incredible, probably the menu could go through an update. The food wasn’t on par with the breakfast and bbq - it’s a bit dubious on how to tip, only the last day that we saw a box to tip. Probably being more explicit or having one at the restaurant (the staff was incredible) - probably a better treatment of the grass around the bungalows would give a nicer aspect (very small detail) - probably discussing with the Masais that stay at the end of the beach to live in harmony together - softer pillows, but that’s my preference
