9.0It was a charming little cottage. Nice & close to the pub & other sites we wanted to visit.
− User error but we couldn’t get the bedrooms heating working. Also had issues with using the shower however I would hasten to add I would also put that down to our unfamiliarity with British plumbing systems.
Great location cute cottage for a small family with a dog. But need to drive everywhere.

A Cold Cumbrian Cottage
4.0The property was very clean and was well equipped with comfortable furniture and the main bed was also very comfortable.
− It was freezing cold and the heating wasn’t working properly with the radiators only getting lukewarm even when on full. I contacted the host and he said he’d send someone around. 3 hrs later the cleaner turned up who obviously couldn’t fix the problem. To keep warm I had to use the oven with the door open. The following afternoon the cleaner came back with an electric heater but this would have been more suitable for a dolls house. See picture
