Fabulous stay
10.0Beautiful building, great location and spacious rooms for our group of 11. The kitchen is also well kitted out with cooking utensils and essentials.
What a wonderful place to hold a family celebration
10.0We had a fabulous time at Grey Gables. The hosts have put it all together so well, there was everything we needed for cooking for lots of people and It felt really welcoming & comfortable as well as quirky and full of character. The building is really interesting (we all enjoyed Guy's historical information!) and they have decorated with artwork and colours which have created a contemporary feel to a very old beautiful house. The kids - who were between 8 and 13 loved playing hide and seek and there was enough space for all ages to enjoy both inside and out.
− This is no fault of the hosts - just part of it being an old building - but as someone with hypermobility and a very dodgy knee thats prone to dislocating I needed to be alert as there were so many different floor levels and steps in unexpected places - I was fine - just good to be aware of this especially re older family members.
Wonderful stay. I would recommend to anyone to stay.
9.0The building was very old and quirky. It was a wonderful place to stay with family.
− Plumbing was a minor inconvenience when a house full but it didn't impact on the stay.
