Incredible place, very different of anything in Luxor. It's a private house near to the mountains with trails in the Saara right in front of you The owner, Baraka, helped me all the way, even brought me food when I asked for a place do lunch I recommend specially for those who want a experience out of the ordinary and those who a looking for a more spiritual approach with the Valley of the Kings, as you can see the valley from the house.

Amazing place, thats why I came back. The host greeted me on arrival and is so helpful, kind and a very funny man. This place is right in front of the mountain and I love the changing colours as the sun rises.

This house is so much more than the listing says. The owner has built a place for those who love nature, it is quiet and peaceful with no bright lights and a place to sit by a fire. There are beautiful spacious domed rooms, all you need in the kitchen and a large bathroom. This place has an amazing location directly facing the mountains, it is very peaceful away from the city and hassle. The owner lives locally, speaks English well and is so helpful and and happy get anything you need. It is easy to go out by tuctuc, local bus or taxi. I love being able to walk straight into the mountains overlooking the Nile and feeling free. Ali listens to what you need and does all he can to help you, he can arrange anything and he even got a quality orthopaedic mattress so it was better for my husbands back - amazing. It has been carefully designed using traditional materials and is really beautiful, unlike anywhere else I have stayed before and I have been to Egypt many times. Choose your location, this wont suit everybody because it takes time to travel to sightsee but then you see more of Egyptian life on the way. True nature lovers who want to connect with natural Egypt will love it. Ali can arrange pickup from the airport or anywhere else and give numbers for transport.

− Ali said he will change the seating to make it more comfortable. I was worried about the dogs because he looks after them but they are gentle and friendly.

Remote

The host was amazing, but the location is very remote. So please keep in mind - you will need transport anywhere you'll go. It's probably good for a long stay, but not if you want to walk around. Again, the host was amazing.

− Location is very remote with nothing around. We came but couldn't stay there becasue of this reason. I believe, if we would have stayed, the host will make us feel comfortable and arrange the taxi... but we decided to change the hotel.

Very chill quiet area in a beautiful traditional house

The location is stunning, very quiet, and with a look over the valley of the kings, perfect for anyone who wants a break from the busy Luxor city. It’s easily reachable by mini van, 20 min or so. The host Aly is very nice, helpful and kind. He knows a lot about the ancient history and is always open to a walk towards the mountains. We could ask him for anything, and he would organise it. He even invited us to a delicious BBQ with fresh fish. Would go there again anytime.

− The bed was a bit hard but we slept well

Egyption style chalet in the ancient sacred mountains

I actually didn’t notice the location of this mountain chalet when I booked it 😁but, ended up to be one of the best things that happened to me in Luxor. Safe and quiet 😴. Air is fresh and clean. the vibe is so relaxing. I just liked the energy In the middle of the ancient sacred mountains. Recommend it for groups and couples. I also used the washing machine and kitchen . Very convenient.

− Location is end of village. But there is local micro bus and I also used Indrive app.
