Charming villa and the most beautiful sunsets

We’ve travelled as two couples and stayed in Villa Cantik for twenty days. First of all the Villa is really big, it offers a lot of space and that makes it very comfortable. Each bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe and a large bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Shared area with the kitchen has a large sofa and a large table. As you can notice everything is large - it properly describes the space :) We’ve been both working and relaxing and it’s a wonderful place to stay at. On top of that the hosts are super friendly, they offer daily cleaning and tasty home-made breakfasts every day. Always there to help with anything you need and always smiling. They will also make laundry at local laundry place - it’s cheap and high quality, great for longer stays. But MOST IMPORTANTLY: THE POOL AND THE VIEW. It’s just breathtaking, swimming in the pool feels amazing and it’s large enough to -actually- swim (think about 15 meters length). Pool is surrounded by a beautiful garden that has a ton of charm - very unique and beautiful setting. The Villa is about 10 years old and it’s both a plus and a minus: it’s a plus because it has real character and you can feel that it was finished with high quality materials, plus the owners really thought the layout through. Location is great: you can get grab deliveries from two nearby towns, but you are in quite secluded location and you can go for a walk uphill behind a villa to see some breathtaking natute. Overall it’s an amazing place to stay, we had a wonderful time and we wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

− Now for the minuses: - as mentioned, the Villa isn’t the newest and it has a lot of signs of wear, you can see some mold in the bathrooms, large fans in the living room weren’t working, floor in the upper bedroom was broken. - you can feel that the villa really could use some renovations - WIFI is not great, the owners upgraded it for our stay but if you have internet intesive work then it might be a bit troublesome, we managed though - there’s a lot of ants - really, although as expected in a tropical villa, you have to take care of your food or it becomes ants food - if you’re scared of spiders and insects - well, this is a villa in a rather „wild” setting. Two of our group are a bit arachnophobic so we had to get used to this. However, it’s completly to be expected if you want to live in a beautiful villa that’s set in beautiful nature and has a beautiful garden - pool is simply amazing we’ve spent half of our time there but water isn’t crystal clean These minuses aren’t really major, but it’s good to know what to prepare for. In our opinion the Villa provides fantastic value for money and we would (and prolly will) return.
