A cozy farmhouse stay in a beautiful country setting with a warm and gracious host!
10.0This is a cute farmhouse in the country. It was cozy, it is heated by a wood stove fired boiler, and it reminded my wife of being at her grandmother’s house when she was a girl. The mother and son team (he was the translator!) was so sweet and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She even messaged me shortly after we arrived and asked if she could bring us a breakfast of blueberry cake and coffee or tea in the morning! We happily said we would enjoy that and the next morning she and her son knocked on the door and delivered coffee and tea along with a tray of delicious blueberry crumble, breakfast rolls, fresh milk, and half a dozen hard boiled quail eggs! It was an amazing treat.
− As a couple we would have preferred one of the beds were a double. But we knew that they were all single beds and we would still stay here again in a heartbeat.
