10.0The cottage is fantastic. It has everything you need and more. The owners, very kindly, left us bread, milk, coffee, condiments and tea. It's a beautiful little place that we 100% recommend. It's also decorated beautifully and sits in an absolutely gorgeous setting. If you need somewhere to stay in the area, you HAVE to stay here.
− The only issue was completely not the fault of the cottage, but if you need some essentials (that weren't kindly left by the owner), there's nothing within walking distance. You have to get in your car and drive. Again, 100% not the fault of the owners, but you'd think the village would have a corner shop of some description, no matter how small.

Lovely cottage that could be cleaner
6.0Nice little cottage decor is lovely has so much potential if it was clean. Welcome pack was a nice touch.
− Nothing was clean. The bathroom there's was mould where the towels were stored, the amount of body hair found in the bathroom, down the side of the toilet hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. The kitchen has a few bits for cooking but not enough for a long stay, but everything in the kitchen was dirty from the plates and cups to the pans. Even the front of the cupboard and drawers were full of grim same as sink area.. the bedroom very dusty lots of hair, under the bed super dirty, bed frame full of dust. Didn't like check in the only place I've ever stayed and not been contacted by owners with how to get into the property we had to contact them, then was given the wrong code.. all this is such a shame hopefully they can get a cleaner or a new cleaner as you shouldn't charge all this money if it's not clean. Easy fix just takes time and care.
