8.0Sala Boutique Hotel is exceptional in greeting its guests and especially accommodating departures, since the Hotel is incredibly close to Velana International Airport. I very much enjoy the restaurant and the hotel room I stay in, with spotless facilities and a comfortable bed.
− The only issue is that the showering toilet is a bit small, and it's hard to shower without flooding the floor a bit since there's no divider between the shower and the outside bathroom area.
This was a small oasis in the centre of Male which is a crazy busy place.

− WiFi was marginal. Really slow and sometimes unstable - but for an Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean I should be grateful there is working WiFi!

9.0- the room was really nice, perfect place to relax, - good breakfast (much better than the avarage toast bread with egg and old sausage) - we've been picked up from the airport free of charge and could use the room since 9am or so - perfect location, very close to the ferry terminal and the most important sights in Male
− - the price both of the room and the breakfast are quite high - there was no proper window, but it's Male, a proper window is a luxury

10.0Sala Boutique Hotel is very comfortable and hospitable place in Male. Rose and her staff are the real pearl, that made our stay there unforgettable. We had tasty varied breakfast with fresh juice, fruits (mango, papaya, watermelon), cheese and meat plate, eggs (omlette, scramble or other dishes from eggs according to the guest wishes) and bakery. And for sure we had the best Tom Yam we ever ate during the dinner in Sala Thai Restaurant. Special thanks for the transfer from and to airport that the owners suggest free of charge.
