Great experience, great stay.
10.0Renovation inside the house was good, kitchen had everything: cooking utensils, forks, spoons, everything you might need. The bathroom had warm water. The bedroom was large and cozy, the bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked. The courtyard of this villa was incredible, beautiful design of the space, lights between the trees and in other places that illuminated the courtyard well at night. There was also lighting in the pool, the whole area was fenced with a fairly high fence, there were several cameras, one of them was directed at the gate, and other at yard. We felt safe and swam almost every night in pool without any problems. During the day, we sometimes saw fishermen sailing through the fence in boats, it was an interesting experience. Small birds often flew into our yard, once even a large wild peacock flew in. In the evenings, bats often flew in the sky above us. There were lizards, a couple of times we saw mongooses. We loved that the place was alive, every day was amazing in this villa, located near the city, but at the same time in a secluded and natural place.On our last days we even saw some fireflies at night in the yard, it was incredible. Our yard and pool were always clean, because the owners thoughtfully came every day and cleaned it.The owner of the villa is a great man, we liked to communicate with him, we could ask him any questions and he immediately found a solution without any problems. We also feel gratitude to the owner of the villa, his wife. We did not pay any extra money for breakfast, but during our stay she often brought us breakfasts completely free of charge, from the bottom of her heart. Sri Lankan dishes like rotti with vegetables, sweets, fruits, and even fish, it was very nice of her. The son of the owners was also a great, nice and friendly young man, super responsive to help. We also had enough personal space, the owners were not intrusive at all. It was the best place we have ever been.
