A Stay in Historic Nardo
8.0Laura was a kind and responsive host who communicated promptly throughout our time at the property. Located in Nardo's centro storico, it is a short walk to many restaurants, cafes, and bars. The house is spacious and has a nice open agora as you enter. The house is decorated and stocked as if it were someone's house (perhaps it was previously), so there are things to entertain and plenty of kitchen needs to cook for yourself. Laura arranged for us to arrive earlier than posted, which was much appreciated.
− Of note is that the house, in the centro storico, is part of the ZTL, so you are not allowed to drive there. You must park outside the ZTL and pull/carry your luggage from there. We found the parking in Nardo challenging to decode (in spite of driving in many cities and towns in Italy) and at times were able to easily find a spot and at others circled the area for an hour trying to find something.
A lovely spacious apartment with good facilities in a great location in Nardo. Thank you Laura, we loved it.
