The room was clean & the wifi was good.

− The refrigerator didn't work properly, everything put in there froze even with the dial turned down. No coffee in the room or in the office. When checking in, the owner continued a private conversation on her phone, barely acknowledging us. Over priced for a basic room with no amenities.

The room was clean. This is the number one thing, and frankly the only thing I really care about in a rural place like this. It also has a microwave and fridge. There is no coffee service, but you can walk down the road to a nice bakery/cafe starting at 8. If that is too late, you can walk a bit farther to the Citgo station where they have a fresh ground coffee machine and super friendly attendants. The beds are in good shape. There are sufficient towels/soap/shampoo once you find them in the sink cabinet.

− The AC is too noisy, but manageable, the shower is very small, but good enough for my purposes. The internet was working when I got there, but was totally offline when I woke up. This is annoying because I need to check my email when I get up. Forget trying to reach the desk staff at any time. When I got there, there was no one to check me in and the lobby was locked. I was pretty miffed and sent many texts and tried to call. I kept ringing the bell for 15 minutes. Finally a woman came out of the shower in a towel and handed me my key card. I expressed my displeasure, but I guess they don't have enough staff the front desk. They should have at least put up a note saying that they will be back in 30 minutes. The woman was apologetic and helpful once she got her act together.
