10.0Excellent escape to the countryside. Alix and Scott are so welcoming and friendly. Ginger, the cat, came to say hello. The bed is so comfortable and there is plenty of room. The shower is good, and the hut itself is lovely. To wake to the sound of the stream and the birds is amazing. Wonderfully stay

10.0We arrived late and the instructions received prior to the day of arrival were extremely thorough which massively helped. The hut was incredibly welcoming and luckily the weather was pleasant at times, allowing us to enjoy walking around the farm and to use the outside table. However, when the rain came we were extremely content in the hut, looking out the window. A lovely booklet was waiting for us upon arrival with useful information and everything was clean and set up ready to go. The bathroom was impressive, a lovely warm shower! The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. We felt incredibly welcome and really enjoyed the unique experience. The hut was a great base for us to go on day trips and explore. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to return!

10.0Wonderful location, being with nature at its best! Loved every second! Would highly recommend to any couple wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
− Only thing we can think of is the bed size, we are used to a super king bed so going from that to a double was fun, but that’s nothing when you think about the experience you get in the Shepard’s hut.
