A great place to stay if you’re happy with the basics in life and just want a restful break away from it all.
7.0The property is vey peaceful; you have to reach it by boat. It is run by several members of a friendly Nubian family. Once there, there is absolutely nothing to do; you go there to unwind with a good book and rest. The views are lovely, given it’s situated right on the waterside.
− The menu was very limited, but everything was freshly made. It would have been nice to have a greater choice of food and drink. There were no towel rails and only a tiny mirror in the bathroom. It was rustic which added to its charm but could have been improved with one or two more niceties.

9.0A unique experience, away from the cities and noise, but just a short taxi from Aswan, plus hotel provided boat crossing. If you want something different this place is a great option. The staff are friendly, prices reasonable, food lovely. The Nubian people are super friendly and we were welcomed twice by locals who offered us a hot drink and wouldn't accept any payment. The hotel has Kayaks for hire, you can swim in the Nile.
− For us it was a perfect spot for a short stay relaxing after Cairo and Alexandia sight seeing and noise! If you want typical western hotel food and facilities this is not the place for you.
