You’ll enjoy your stay and want to return … just bring a duster !
9.0Lovely welcome . Really off the beaten track . Quirkiness of the family of animals on the farm . Quietness and feeling of really being in the countryside with no hustle or bustle . The lovely breakfast kept me going until the evening !
− Perhaps a bit more dusting to have taken place beforehand , though I would have no hesitation in staying again .
Perfect for animal lovers who enjoy being close to nature.
9.0The farm itself is very welcoming, with lots of animals, which we absolutely loved. The owner was friendly, well-traveled, and enjoyable to talk to. At our request, he showed us the animals, which made our stay even more special. The bed was comfortable, and the room was stocked with tea, coffee, and fresh milk. It was a cosy, compact room with everything we needed. Free parking was available right in front of the house, on the edge of the forest, with no problems at all. There were also lots of adorable little rabbits around the property, which added to the charm.
− We didn't find it very comfortable that the entrance hall also served as the bathroom and toilet. There were also quite a few spiders, and although we understand it's a working farm, not all of the local wildlife is to everyone's taste. We also felt that the cleanliness could have been better. The cups and cutlery were slightly sticky, which left room for improvement. That said, these were relatively minor issues, and overall we still had a positive experience.
A great stop over point

9.0Comfy rooms with delicious breakfast and super friendly hosts.
A quiet and quirky place to stay.
9.0I enjoyed the breakfasts, the room was clean and well laid out. The staff were helpful and friendly.
− The bed was not as comfortable as I would of expected, The door to the bathroom rubbed on the floor and was not easy to open fully.
Friendly staff (&alpacas ).
8.0Friendly owners, lovely location, enjoyed feeding the alpacas! Fresh milk to make drinks - perfect, and a lovely walk to the pub for food.
− Shower leaked and the temperature was a little unpredictable but everything else was good.
