It was very good, it is a relaxing place with many facilities, very close to Chania (10 mins drive).

Close to Chania, nice beach and very good restaurant just across the road. Parking facility and very cozy room with loads of space. Kitchen was very generous, we had a portable stove, an oven, cutleries, a water heater for coffee or tea. Also, the owner of the property was very nice to us, always asked us if we require anything at all and provided us with a lot of places to visit, eat or drink a coffee. Also, their hospitality is unmatched, they left us some treats in the fridge :)

− We had some issues with the AC because it started leaking inside the room due to the hose from the AC leading out which was going inside a bucket. Once tbe bucket filled with water from the hose, the hose started pulling the water instead of air, therefore the leaking. The owner of the property did not inform us of this before coming and I have managed to empty the bucket and solve this issue. Also, the toilet presented a small issue, when flushing the water, the water would not stop, but it was on and off and since the 3rd day of our stay it stopped and everything was ok. During these issues, the owner of the property was very kind and they offered to fix it right away.

We stayed in this apartment for 8 days. It’s beautiful and has everything we needed. It’s perfect for two people. There’s a lovely balcony facing the hills, offering privacy. The area is peaceful, and just a few steps away there’s a sandy beach with a bar that provides everything you might need. There’s also a mini market nearby. The host is very kind and always available if you need anything. And yes, parking is also available. :)

− There was absolutely nothing that bothered us. Everything was more than excellent.

This place is absolutely amazing. The apartment is located right in front of a beautiful, intimate beach that is much less crowded with tourists – it felt like our own little paradise. Just a few steps away you’ll also find a beach bar, a lovely taverna, a gas station, and a supermarket, which made everything super convenient. The apartment itself is fully equipped with everything you might need, perfectly clean and comfortable. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the host. She responded promptly to every question, helped us with anything we needed right away, and was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. She even gave us great local recommendations that made our trip even better. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Despina’s Cozy Home – we would come back without hesitation!
