Rooms are big

− Disappointing stay – misleading advertising and poor service Our stay at Alice Hotel Antalya was unfortunately a very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. First, the room we were initially given did not match what we had booked, and the hotel photos on Booking.com are not an accurate representation of the actual property. The marketing creates expectations that the hotel simply does not meet. One of the biggest disappointments was the breakfast. While the hotel advertises “breakfast included,” most travelers would reasonably expect a buffet or at least some daily choice. Instead, every guest receives exactly the same fixed plate every morning with no variety at all. The same cheese, jam, eggs, vegetables, and bread are served every day. There are no alternatives for guests with allergies, dietary restrictions, or vegetarian preferences, and this is never mentioned in the hotel’s description. Breakfast is also served at an outsourced restaurant rather than inside the hotel, something that is not disclosed during booking. The restaurant had no air conditioning, and eating breakfast in temperatures above 40°C with very high humidity was extremely uncomfortable. Housekeeping was another major issue. Rooms were only cleaned every other day, and when we asked about daily cleaning, we were told that they simply did not have enough staff to clean all the rooms every day. This is not the standard level of service guests should expect. We also experienced two full days without hot water because the water heating system had apparently been switched off. As a result, we were unable to take proper showers for two days, which was unacceptable during a week-long stay. Customer service was consistently poor. One evening we urgently needed help locating a late-night pharmacy to obtain medication, but the hotel was unable to assist us. It became clear that only one employee was handling reception, housekeeping, and guest requests during the night.

− Breakfast experience was very poor. There was no open buffet; instead, the same fixed breakfast plate was served to every guest every day, with no variety or consideration for individual preferences, dietary requirements, or food allergies. * Housekeeping standards were inconsistent… * Some staff members were rough and rude… * The room maintenance and cleanliness did not meet expectations… * The hotel did not provide the level of service expected for its rating…

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt in Ordnung. Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstrasse, der öffentliche Strand ist in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Vom Hotel aus wird zudem ein Transfer zu sehr schönen, ruhigeren Stränden angeboten, die sauber und nicht überlaufen sind – das war ein grosser Pluspunkt.

− Das Frühstück hingegen war leider nicht überzeugend. Die Auswahl war begrenzt und die Mitarbeiterin wirkte demotiviert und wenig freundlich, was die Atmosphäre beeinträchtigt hat
