− Maison très sale, pas de ménage fait depuis bien longtemps, extérieurs non entretenues, meubles cassés voir dangereux, serviettes mises à disposition trouées, remontée d’odeur, nous avons dû relaver toute les cuisine et les ustensiles . Impossible de cuisiner sans invasion de fourmis. Problème de piscine avec filtre défaillant qui a nécessité l’intervention d’un techniciens non fait avant notre arrivée. Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. Un immeuble a été construit depuis donnant sur le jardin. Un peu excentre.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette petite maison au charme vraiment typique et nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement le propriétaire et le responsable pour leur attention. Ils ont été à l’écoute de nos besoins et de nos questions, et ont vraiment su faire en sorte que notre séjour se déroule au mieux 🙏 Merci à eux pour leur réactivité et leur gentillesse. Nous repartons avec un souvenir très positif

The locate of house was great. You can walk to the convenience store, beach, and the bioluminescent area. The area was pretty quiet at night but close enough to the night life. And the Host Kevin was very friendly and helpful. He was always available for any questions or needs about property or the area around.

− The mosquitos but that is part of the island life.

In a word DIRTY - Holbox was a one and done

The best thing about this property was Rosa the host. She was very pleasant.

− Location - this house is not far from the beach but you have to walk through gross huge dirty puddles that can be over your knees in most spots to get there. The water in these puddles smelled like sewage. Also getting into town was an issue, getting a taxi was not easy and you cannot really walk to town. The roads were flooded and based on conversations with locals they are always flooded in areas between this house and town. The house was dirty. There were ants in the kitchen. The pool was dirty. The rooftop deck was dirty. The shower off the kitchen did not work there was no handle to turn the water on/off . The toilet on the rooftop did not work. There were no blankets on any of the beds, just a very thin sheets. We had 7 people in the house and they only gave us 7 bath towels. The only place to sit in the living area was 2 concrete benches with plastic seat cushions very uncomfortable.

Rosa was so helpful, responsive and kind. The beds were very comfortable, great size rooms, hot shower, and good kitchen. It was very close to a nice beach, just a couple minutes walk. A bit out of town which meant it was quiet at night, but definitely an easy walk to the town centre, only took about 10-15minutes. We had a great time and really enjoyed the place!

− Everything was great, just be aware the electricity on the island isn't always perfect but they had a good system where it kept the main items running and shut off secondary switches to save power. To be expected on an island, and a pretty good system - a/c and some main lights never shut off.
