Perfect, tranquil spot!
10.0Amazing, peaceful property and ideal for a dog! We loved our stay and it was the perfect getaway and had everything we need!
Not for us at all.
2.0its very close to Bristol airport and so planes were going over at only about 800ft every 5 mins, which i loved as i love watching planes. The garden is large, even saw a little rabbit! The decor in the hut was nice.
− very sadly we were only able to stay for 4 hours of our booked 2 night stay so cant comment on a lot of things. The reason we left is we were told in a message 24 hours prior to check in that the dog was not allowed on the furniture or bed at all. In the listing it says "stop them from claiming" the furniture and bed which is not very explicit, you can stop the dog from claiming the furniture whilst still allowing them on it, our dog is a member of our family and is allowed on furniture at home, and it was very stressful trying to tell him he could not do what he has been used to all his life. There are also several cctv cameras in the garden, which the host has said cover the perimeter not the garden, but they are pointing directly at the garden and made us very uncomfortable. I have worked in hotels and hospitality all my life and we would never have cctv in any area where guests had paid for privacy, only in public access areas. These 2 things combined made us feel far from relaxed and so we left. Also, if you have a very small dog, such as a Chihuahua or Pomeranian they could get through the gap under the gate and through the black gate on to the road (see pictures), and also the fence is 2 or 3 feet back in to the hedge so my dog, who is a lhasa was going in to the hedge and we could not see him at all. Personally, i do not consider this property secure enough to be called dog friendly, and not letting them on the furniture is also, in my opinion, not dog friendly, its dog tolerant. overall, not for us at all. The dog policy and possibility of small dogs escaping needs to be made very much clearer, as does the presence of cctv in an area you have paid good money to have privacy in.

10.0The hut was so lovely. Very well kept and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Garden was gorgeous and plenty of area for the dogs to enjoy ☺️.
Little pocket of tranquility
10.0It was a beautiful little spot, perfectly equipped and just the getaway I needed. Facilities are great and the hut impeccably decorated and maintained. I loved it. Thank you for having me and my Labrador, Ella! (She loved the goody bag and ball!)
