La gentillesse des hôtes, la piscine et le petit dej délicieux et très garni !!

− Ça me fait mal au cœur parce que c’est un élément plutôt indépendant de la volonté des hôtes mais le lieu est extrêmement humide. Les chambres sont neuves mais il y a déjà des taches/odeur d’humidité. Nous avons eu une quantité énorme de moustiques dans la chambre et salle de bain. Nous étions super attentifs à bien fermer les portes mais les moustiques continuaient de rentrer pendant 2 jours….

The staff were so helpful, the food was absolutely delicious, the view was beautiful, even saw some gray faced langurs. The rooms are beautiful and even has a nice relaxing pool. The host will cook yummy food , whatever you request. Definitely a beautiful place to stay. The hosts are so friendly and even made is a takeaway snack box and drinks. Absolutely beautiful people! We were sad to leave.

We chose the Villa to be our “home base” for the 2 months we stayed in Sri Lanka, and that it really was for us. A true escape from the busy and noisy city life, yet close enough to shops and for us, even a walk away from Galle Fort. A hidden gem, surrounded by nature and with all the comforts one might need. The room is spacious and modern, the kitchen in the outdoor area fully functional. A large covered outdoor area for dining, working and just chilling. The pool is a wonderful asset to the Villa! Still, the most praise goes to the hosts – a very accommodating, warm and helpful family attending to our every inquiry. Tharu is so good in communicating and organizing, the mother makes the most delicious and abundant Sri Lankan food, the father takes care of the property and Sithara in the background keeps the place steering towards an even brighter future. The prospects are great, no doubt! The monkeys offer great entertainment, yet keeping to a safe distance as these purple-faced langurs are themselves shy of people. Two types of squirrels and monitor lizards are also among the locals, you can sight the beautiful kingfisher and another bright-yellow-winged bird as you eat your breakfast. A boat safari along the river was also exciting, yet safe, no crocodiles sighted! It is quite easy to get to Kandy (and the northern part of the island) with a highway bus (only 4,5h). We took a driver to the middle of the island to hike the wonderful mountains of Ohiya and Horton Plaines, bathe in the Upper Diyaluma waterfall and experience the Udawalawe evening safari (spotted several elephant herds and crocodiles). All in all, we highly reocommend the Villa for your stay!
