Thought it was a great place to stay

A few properties together were fairly remote but absolutely perfect for our requirements.

− Not a big issue but there was no freezer compartment for the fridge.

The location was perfect for us and the facilities and decor are great.

− The only thing missing is a small freezer, I would swap out the dishwasher for a freezer, but that's just personal preference.

− We found the property to be clean and tidy on arrival and there was a nice welcoming basket. For the price paid though, we felt is was lacking some basic facilities. The first issue was an oversight on our behalf, we assumed (wrongly) that for the price there would be some basic washing facilities for clothes. Even though it wasn’t listed, we were surprised to find that there was no washing machine and drying rack. We regularly rent properties in the Cotswolds and have always had a washing machine as standard - particularly in that price bracket. If you’re only there for a night or two that’s no problem but we were there for a longer period. Another consideration was bedroom two, it has a very nice skylight, but unfortunately there’s no blind on it and as a result at around 4am (in the summer) the room is flooded with daylight - no problem for some people, but for us it was an issue. Also, in the same bedroom there’s a hanging rack but there’s no wardrobe or storage drawers. The internet service in the cottage is very slow, in addition there was a security issue that any browsers we used highlighted which made us reluctant to use it. In summary a nice cottage in a rural location but not great value for the fees charged.

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation. Welcoming basket of goodies plus owners available to help if needed.

− We couldn't use the bath as the plug wasn't secure but shower was great!

The location was good although struggled to find somewhere to eat out.

− Not sure that the free standing bath in the bedroom really worked, water goes everywhere! The shower in one of the bedrooms was rather small

The beds were comfortable but downstairs the seating not very comfortable.

Location good with parking next to property.

− One bedroom door didn’t shut. There was no freezer or icebox in fridge. The suite was not very comfortable. The tv remote didn’t work.
