Everything about this place is great

We saw leopards and crocodiles!

We were treated like family. The food was home-cooked and tasty, the view from the veranda lovely, the rooms comfortable and clean. We went for an evening and morning safari, saw leopards, crocodiles and beautiful birds. Our host was also our driver. He was very professional and knowledgeable, he knew the rights places to see wildlife at the just the right times. He was exceedingly helpful and professional. I don't think you'd get treated better at a 5-star hotel.

Loved our stay at this homestay. We stayed two nights, and took two safaris with them. Our room was large, clean, functional and comfortable. The bed was massive and comfy, aircon worked well. The food at both breakfast and evening meal was delicious. The cauliflower and potato curry was fabulous, as was the veg poha one morning. Good selection of local dishes, which is what we enjoy. The safaris were well run and we saw 5 leopards over the two trips, plus crocodiles, lots of birds and other animals. There is no wifi available here, and my only touch of signal was on the rooftop terrace. This worked just fine though, I just hadn't realised before getting there. Bhanu's English is exceptional and the family are very welcoming, the dad is kind and explained all the food and couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

− Could have done with a bookcase or couple of shelves in the room to put our things on. And maybe one in the bathroom. But not enough to put me off!

We had a wonderful stay at Jawai Leopard Villa, very kind and hospitable family. Beautiful and adventurous tour in the landscape around their home, saw a full grown leopard only 5 meters away on our first night!

Homely touch, the Safaris are handled between the father and son, and they have their own vehicles, which are in good condition and they are very promptly on time.

− Bit of a leak in the pot area and very stiff bidet pipes. No hot water connection in the basin tap, so had to use icy cold water at 5:30am in the winter at 6°C, before the Safari ride !
