Perfect little studio for myself to stay in. I stayed here a year ago and it was a no-brainer to come back. The little table us a nice addition since I was last there. It has everything I need for my stay - parking, comfy bed, nice hot shower, good kitchenette, little outddor area and BBQ, wifi. Plus it's only 5-10 mins easy walk to main area of Kaiteriteri to catch the boat. Jason is awesome; keeps in communication with you and makes sure your stay goes well.

Location was excellent. We booked for two nights. At time of booking the accomodation stated shower with bath. We booked but owner messaged later to advise the accomodation had an outdoor shower. We did not see the message as wifi issues while on hike. I depended on what was stated on booking.com. We paid for two nights but stayed only one. Will be asking for a refund.

− The outdoor shower which was not private. There is suburban houses around. Didn't help that kids playing next door shouting " Dad someone is taking a shower" I felt very uncomfortable. The shower had a tarpaulin enclosure. Owner has not been kind enough to offer refund.

Good location and a lovely place to stay.

− The outdoor shower was disappointing. We were aware it was outside but we felt quite exposed as the surrounding area was not properly covered with surrounding properties having a view inside the shower. The ‘curtain’ was a piece of tarpaulin which, when it was windy, was blown away exposing the shower. The property also got very hot during the day with only a small fan inside which did not cool it down quickly.

Location was great! Air conditioner worked good. Clean and comfortable beds.

− No table and chairs inside. Needs a bit of reorganizing to be more functional since it is a small space. Consider removing dresser and one couch, add some open shelves, clothing bar with hangers that are reachable, or two suitcase folding racks and a small table and chairs.

Self contained with all the amenities I needed, close to main area of Kaiteriteri, private. The whole of my stay was when Cyclone Tam hit, but with the amenities and wifi, I was able to entertain myself since my outdoor adventures couldn't happen. The outdoor shower was really nice even in the circumstances - nice and hot, great pressure. I thought there was only a BBQ, but there was a microwave, ceramic hotplate with pots/pans and electric frypan too to cook with. Bed big and comfortable. Clean, modern. Really great! The property management were also great, kept in touch and made sure the stay went well all the way through.
