8.0Loverly old school bed and breakfast with a full breakfast around a dining table. Judy and Dennis, the proprietors, were warm, welcoming and gracious. Easy access in Golden and walkable to downtown. Convenient on-site and street parking.
Excellent, except for late night disturbance.

− Other guests coming in way after midnight making noise and talking too loud for that time of night.
I left the Silk Pincushion knowing I had just had a wonderful and unique B and B experience.
10.0The breakfast was truly delicious: eggs, sausage, fresh baked scones and muffins, plenty of fresh fruit, and, of course, good coffee. The hosts, Judy and Dennis, offered a perfect balance by providing peaceful privacy up in the room and warm hospitality around the breakfast table.
− The bathroom was kind of small, but manageable.

A charming historic home with warm hosts, great breakfasts, and an easy walk to Golden’s Main Street.
10.0I enjoyed my stay very much in this beautiful historic house in Golden. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth, and it’s clear they take great pride in keeping both the house and the grounds in excellent condition. The highlights for me were the opportunity to talk about the property and history of Golden with the owners and others staying and the home-cooked breakfast and the baked treats — the muffin I had one morning was amazing. Access was easy, and the property is just a short walk to Golden’s Main Street. The town itself is small, clean, safe, and very pleasant to explore.
