Fijne plek als uitvalsbasis voor een historisch verblijf, wel erg gehorig helaas
7.0Zeer fijn weekend gehad in het indrukwekkende Veenhuizen, hier ligt een schat aan geschiedenis. Accommodatie is oud maar past bij de beleving, het was goed schoon en een goede uitvalsbasis. Bij vragen reageerde de beheerder/ eigenaar direct.
− Het is niet tot amper geïsoleerd, dit zorgt ervoor dat je de buren bijna letterlijk kan horen praten. Zelfs om 5 u wakker geworden door pratende buren.
Heerlijk, vooral de rust die de omgeving uitstraalt.

8.0Ontbijt hebben we zelf verzorgd. Balken boven het bed waren een beetje te laag. Fietsen konden we veilig achter de huisjes parkeren. Een deurpost van de deur aan de tuinkant van de huisjes, bij de voordeuren, de linker kozijnbalk, vertoont tekenen van houtrot. Daar hebben wij geen last van, maar moet wel een punt van aandacht zijn. Prima omgeving, nuttige informatie opgedaan in Veenhuizen, Frederiksoord en Wilhelmina oord.V
