7.0The dormitory room was clean and comfortable. The drive from Mu Cang Chai to the homestay was a lot of fun and the drive to Bac Yen was also great. The mountain scenery was dramatic and there was a remote feel to the area.
− Contrary to other reviews I found the food intensely plain. The boiled chicken arrived as dried out fried bone and chicken. The Talapia was grilled without flavouring. It was ok. The boiled carrots and pumpkin were just that and the stir fried green pumpkin leaves or whatever was ok. The greens are great for clearing one's digestive tract.

10.0Breathtaking views, the family were so helpful and eager to make your stay perfect. Completely off the beaten track homestay with Black Tai family. Wish we could have stayed longer!
