Stunning apartment - a fantastic find.

This apartment was amazing. It had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The whole place was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and fresh towels. With a kitchen/diner, bathroom and bedroom area with the added bonus of a small terrace with beautiful views. Air conditioning worked brilliantly, as did the wi-fi. Location was excellent in the heart of the town and a few minutes from the train station and beach. Plenty of restaurants too. Also, a beautiful church whose bells could be heard was nearby. We cooked at the apartment with the fresh pasta the host had left us, along with a beautiful homemade tiramisu. We were very spoilt! The host was excellent and made themselves available to us should the need arise. I cannot recommend this lovely little apartment highly enough. I really do wish we could have stayed longer and ideally wish I could move in!!!

− As a fat, fifty year old with a dodgy knee, I did struggle with the climb to the property and the many steps. But, this is more a ‘me’ problem as all of Riomaggiore is steep with steps - I just need to be fitter!

Really great location in the center of the town. It is a small apartment but it has everything you need for a short stay. Host has been very helpfull with instructions how to find the apartment as it is a little bit complicated when you have i o9n9b the small steps in the house and go to the apartment which is actualy in the back yard. As the Riomaggiore is very limited with space this apartment gives you a small ⁷2 which is a good base for exploring the area. i jhad everything we needed and AC unit worked fine. Wi-Wi also worked good and the fridge has been fulled with some food what is really a nice gesture from the hosts. Restaurants, bars and all the shops are just on your door step. Eventhough it lookes a bit like you are entering a slum on the way to the entrance it is actualy a nice little apartment. All in all I would stay here again. It is a good value for money.

− Actualy everything was good. Maybe for some people a narrow entrance to the shower coul be a problem but for us it has been no problem. If you are having a car that could be a problem as parking facilities in the town are very limited. Public garage can be full very day even early in the morning and for bigger cars it is not suitable as the entrance hight is 1.90. Note also that the parking in fromt of the graveyard is limited on 30 minutes for few places and two hours for other pkaces so you can not park there for a longer period. Free parking is only alowed where the white lanes are and this areas are quite small about 1.5- 2.0km uphil on the main road to La Spezia. You can walk down on the main road or by steep steps (shorter). If you are not for walking on the high sun you can use public bus but it takes some time to get the bus. If you are arriving by train you want have thise problems. Some apartments coul have maybe acces to special areas for that area to park but probably only few of them.
