A cabin in the wilderness with basic facilities, go for it if you want a base for hikes and exploring the pueblos mancom
4.0Amazing location and stunning views, we were greeted by family of the owner and they were lovely. The fire lit for us the first night was lovely. The nearby comedor was good for having food.
− Unfortunately there was bad weather for our second day which is out of the control of the owners. It was very windy so you could hear and feel the strong draft through doors and windows. However, we also had arranged for a fire to be lit that night as there is no central heating and it wasn’t (we don’t know why) which meant it was extremely cold, and we never heard back from the owners and still haven’t. We decided to leave a day early because of this (and we wanted some sun). There was also issues with hot water that didn’t seem to be fixed so we couldn’t shower.

9.0The cabin is in an unbelievably stunning location and the couple who manage it are lovely. It is very clean and had all the basics that we needed for a comfortable stay.
− There is no central heating - and it does get cold at night. But as long as you bring the right clothes, it's not a problem.

9.0Very well kept cabin. Very close to all hiking within the community of Benito Juarez. The owners (Elena and Refugio) were very nice and friendly to work with. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. Looking forward to coming back again and staying a few more days.

7.0Grrat location near village of benito juarez , lots of views , pretty plants all around , fresh air
− Several things did not work eg hot water heater which eventually got fixed . Wifi was also a bit dicey. This beautiful cabin needs to be better maintained
We had a beautiful stay. The owners helped us find local food, and there's so much to explore.
10.0Wonderful location, just outside of cute Benito Juaraz. Cabana was well constructed, comfortable, with helpful owners.
