A great stay with many birds

The definition of relaxing!
10.0I could have sat on the porch and watched the bird feeder all day! Just beautiful. It's a very casual, relaxing place; the staff were so kind. The food was simple, but very tasty (in addition to breakfast, you can get lunch and dinner if you tell them in advance). The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The location is very quiet and serene; it was a perfect place to decompress after a couple of weeks of adventure traveling.
− Nothing that I didn't like, just me not paying attention... There is nowhere walkable from the lodge, so if you want to do something during the day and don't have a car, you have to organize it with the staff to get a taxi or whatever (the property does offer a birdwatching guide, whitewater rafting and kayaking excursions). We ended up arranging a visit to a local coffee farm - an activity I can highly recommend! And if you don't speak Spanish, make sure you have your Google Translate fired up and ready to go.

10.0The location! Set along the Rio Quijos, nestled in the cloud forest, the lodge is quiet and offers trails and birdwatching opportunities. Delicious breakfast with amazing views of birds flitting around.
