Small studio apartment in residential block near to Arenal Beach
6.0The studio apartment was one block away from the seafront which has lots of bars and restaurants. There is plenty of free street parking. The host didn't tell us if we had the option to park in the gated carpark but we thought it'd be easier to park on the road anyway. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a small hob. We only used the kitchen to make a cup of tea and some of the mugs were cracked. The apartment should be listed as a 'private host', it's like an Air B&B. It's in a private residential block. While we were there the block was quiet. We liked the flyscreens on the patio doors so we could have the door open at night.
− The bed was very uncomfortable for both of us. It was too soft. There's quite a bit of wear and tear in the apartment and new towels are definitely needed. They are off white now and looking grubby. It's not on the beachfront as advertised. The process of checking in was a bit strange. The address listed on Booking.com doesn't give the number. We were outside the wrong building to begin with then wander round to find the right building to be met by the host.
