Location, views and cleanliness

Beautiful large apartment with an amazing views of Meteora right in the center of Kalabaka.

This is the most beautiful apartment we have ever stayed in and the location is perfect, right on the main Plaka above restaurants, a great coffee/breakfast/bar restaurant and right next to a terrific wine shop! It's a very large apartment and extremely modern with gorgeous detail including a feature wall and multilevel ceilings. The bathroom has a heated towel warmer, washer and big shower which we loved. The big beds are super comfy and the kitchen is really nice with beautiful cabinetry. There are goodies for breakfast and snacks provided. There is a large secret drawer inside a big drawer underneath the stove which contains the cork screw and all silverware and other utensils. The AC is in every room and works great. There is even a key wall container which is necessary to turn on the power and helps you from leaving without it. The owner was quick to respond to my requests and her sweetheart of a maid lives right across the hall. There is even a lift! But all of this pales to the huge balcony with the most extraordinary view I've ever seen in my life! Meterora looming above the buildings of Kalabaka. We just wanted to do nothing but sit on the balcony and watch the colors change all day until night when it's really special! We sat on that balcony at the end of every day until very late, even in the rain, because we were just mesmerized and happy to be there. There is good cover over the balcony and very comfy cushioned patio furniture. We watched all the small children play in the Plaka, then the older kids on their bikes and then couples. We had had some tough touring weeks prior to arriving in Kalabaka and this place made up for everything! We will definitely stay here again if it isn't booked solid after this review!

Apartment with front view to Meteora

The apartment was wonderfully comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, and the view of the Meteora mountains was truly breathtaking. Although the main room and terrace faced the street, the bedrooms opened toward the quiet inner courtyard, so our nights were peaceful and restful. We are very grateful to our host — thank you for everything!

Εξαιρετικό διαμέρισμα, μοντέρνο και καλαίσθητο, πολύ άνετο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Η τοποθεσία ιδανική, με την καλύτερη θέα στην πόλη και εύκολο πάρκινγκ στην περιοχή. Οι οικοδεσπότες ευγενέστατοι και ιδιαίτερα εξυπηρετικοί. Αν ξαναβρεθώ στην Καλαμπάκα, θα το επιλέξω ξανά χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

Clean, modern, perfect location, great hosting, amazing views. Highly recommended.
