10.0This was easily the nicest bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The location is stunning with beautiful views. The house itself is so interesting as an old building and beautifully preserved. The room was large, really comfortable with a lovely bathroom and stand alone bath and then walk in shower. Spotlessly clean. The hosts were exceptionally well organised, kind and welcoming. The food was really good. Lots of choices. Would recommend.

10.0Excellent B&B in a lovely location for all walks and facilities in Hawkshead and the surrounding area. Wonderful hosts Sue & Richard could not do enough, giving advice on walks and the local area. Breakfasts were superb with lots of choice and beautifully presented. Four poster room was lovely with a huge comfy bed, armchairs and an en suite bathroom to die for, lovely roll top bath and walk in shower. Would thoroughly recommend and will definetely return.

10.0Lovely hosts, beautiful house and a really comfortable room. Breakfast was fabulou, generous and varied and the bedroom top up system was great. Walks from right outside the door were super and walkable to the food options in Hawkshead
