Don't stay here
3.0Great location. Blender in kitchen. Cold fridge.
− Dirty, noisy, bad smells, poorly equipped, no hot water, dangerous stairs to enter apartment, we went out to buy new pillows as theirs were terrible, kitchen lacked everything including matches to start the stove, left us Jug containing only 3 glasses of Potable Water, towels were terrible, expensive, poor value
The most beautiful mosquito infested stay.
10.0The place itself was great. Good size and great layout. Great location, about 5 minutes from the cathedral.
− Unfortunately, it wasn't very clean. Upon arriving, we had to wash the bathroom and kitchen. Only had one very small trash can and no cleaning supplies such as a broom and dust pan, a mop, etc. Also, they don't have AC's, which is not a huge deal breaker in taxco. It's typically a cooler town. You can easily open the windows, and the whole house cools down. The issue is that none of the windows have screens, so a swarm of mosquitos came in and tore us up! This made the stay extremely uncomfortable. If we closed the windows, the heat got trapped in, and it felt like an oven. We did a 15-day trip from CDMX, Taxco, and Iguala all the way down to Merida, and this issue with the mosquitos made this stay the worst and most uncomfortable. No AC is needed, but please put screens on the windows. We'd definitely be back if this issue was addressed. I decided not to lower my rating, as it was our first time staying there, and we felt the place was beautiful enough to outweigh the negative. Decided to chalk it up as a one-off thing. It's a gorgeous spot that can be built on little by little.

Wouldn’t recommend.
3.0Location.
− It was a mess. Dusty, weird stuff in the hallway to unit, no coffeemaker. The worst part was that the only bathroom can only be accessed from the master bedroom. It was poorly laid out. As a couple with one extra friend, it was very awkward. The water in the shower was scalding with no way to add cold to it. Parking is extremely difficult in Taxco Centro and we struggled to ditch the car.
