9.0We absolutely loved the cottages,set in such a peaceful and tranquil place with beautiful gardens in a perfect location for visiting whitby and other seaside towns as well as the local villages.we loved it and I want to live there forever! Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully go back again depending on availability.
− Ummm.if I had to moan about something and it isn't much..the hotubs are great but they are log burner ones so you have to keep getting out to throw a couple of logs on lol or have a 3rd man/women to keep it topped up and warm(maybe I was doing it wrong). The frying pan could have been better.i bought 3 steaks from the farm shop but the frying pan wasn't up to it so I didn't bother.flies are a problem as there are plenty of fields so it's to be expected but the brand new fly zapper didn't seem to work but the flypapers under the sink did so that's really a plus point lol. Lastly the gardener turning up at 7am pushing his lawnmower down the side of the cottage woke everyone up although he was very friendly and approachable and is just doing his job but it wasn't ideal and did break the early morning silence which is unique to the property's.
A peaceful rural retreat
10.0The accommodation was absolutely beautiful , done to a very high standard . We loved the location , it was quiet , rural and peaceful. Also not too far from places to visit (eg bempton cliffs, dalby forest). That was our second visit and we are thinking of booking again for next year...

10.0Everything was excellent. Very clean and modern interior. It is a quiet location but the gardens were beautiful and surrounding views were lovely. All was prefect.

− I didnt realise the hot tub was a wood fire one. After we lit it, it kept going out so it took about 9 hours to be the correct temp. It would be good if the hot was already lit on arrival so we could have used straight away
