Central location , fully equipped, unique little cottage with great beds for a good night sleep
10.0Location was perfect. Central . Easy access to all the Island. Full Facility. easy to cook up a good breakfast for a long day of exploring Owner greeted us with a delicious home made loaf of bread
− The living area could have been a little more comfortable for evening board and card games The yard was a little unkept and we did not take advantage . The potential was there . A little too close to the main road. Lots of traffic , But driveway was gated. No place to dispose of garbage

9.0Calm, comfy--easy to get into town. Friendly host who made us feel welcome and provided lots of snacks for when we arrived, which was nice.
We can't imagine a better place to stay on Salt Spring Island.
10.0We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thistle Dew Cottage. It's a charming place, with homey rooms, a well-appointed (small) kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a location convenient to the town of Ganges and beyond. Pauline has a true gift for hospitality, helpfully answering questions about restaurants and other sites on Salt Spring, sharing local stories, and providing delicious home-made muffins, breads, and other good things for breakfast. Quite a treat to stay there!
