Lovely Mumbles

The location of the property is great, central to mumbles, close to shops, pubs, restaurants, beaches etc and the street was quiet on an evening. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. Good communication with the host who was happy to answer any questions and replied very quickly.

− The outside and inside of the cottage could do with a lick of paint, there were lots of marks on the walls and perhaps the outside patio area could do with updating.

The location, the owner was helpful when we had problems with tv

− Parking was a nightmare,whoever the cleaner is they need firing as rooms were dirty cobwebs everywhere,floors hadnt been cleaned,oven and microwave were dirty,fridge smelt horrible,outside space was awful junk and rubbish everywhere and to top it off we found a slug on the kitchen work top

− The cleanliness was not acceptable, food particles in the oven, trays for oven stained had burnt food on them. The toaster was full of thick dust and bread crumbs.We didn’t do any home cooking due to fear of becoming sick. The spindles of the stairs were broken , the curtain rail fell off .There were marks and scratches on all walls. Outside was appalling , overgrown and dangerous , due to weeds , slimy decking and old metal

A very comfortable cottage in a brilliant location. We will be be back!

− A larger saucepan would have been handy!

Great home, comfortable beds and owner very contactable to sort any issues.

− Great but parking is on-street and dependent on availability (very limited) and on narrow streets - which is part of the nature of mumbles. There’s paid parking by the seafront.
